Well look at you! I'm so happy you're here.
I’m Jamie. I currently call the Twin Cities “home sweet home”, but most days I’m dreaming of my next adventure. While I adore the Land of 10,000 Lakes, there is simply too much world to see. And let’s be real…there are warmer places I could be.
I grew up with a pie-baking, grill-master of a father, and a mother who prepared classic dishes from her childhood, constantly sharing a story with each meal she made. Food has always been part of my story, and I believe it is an incredible tool to connect with people. Over the years I’d like to say that I’ve roasted, baked, whipped, and sauteed my way in to the hearts of friends and strangers alike. I’ve found that, when given a compliment about something I’d made, my response consistently had become, “I’m so happy you liked it!”.
Expect to see seasonal, fresh, approachable recipes – and cookies. It’s all about balance, you guys.
My sincere hope is that this is a place that others can come for inspiration. I hope you find what you’re looking for, and when we meet someday (because, come on – why not?),I’ll be able to say, “So Happy You Liked It!”
